Bill Bryant Turquoise Story

The “Bill Bryant Turquoise” Story

My daughter-in-law’s grandpa, William Bryant, worked in several Arizona mines; Morenci, Globe and San Manuel. During his employment, he would collect turquoise anytime he saw it. He garnered quite the collection of turquoise! He began stabilizing and cabbing the stones he found and made several pieces of jewelry for his family. When he passed, my daughter-in-law Erica gifted his collection to me and expressed that she “wanted his collection to be appreciated out in the world”. Indeed it WILL be! Each time I work with one of Bill’s stones, I can feel his love and passion for the material. The turquoise from Bill’s collection could be from any one of the mines where he worked. This is why we refer to it as the “Bill Bryant Turquoise” as the exact mine location for each stone in his collection was never documented.
When you purchase a piece with “Bill Bryant Turquoise”, think of the hard-working miner and his adoration for the stones and earth around him. Imagine the sparkle in his eyes as he picked up the turquoise and brought it home. By purchasing an item with his turquoise, you will now have a piece of a personal and true Arizona history story.
